Connect with Xiaomi Home App
- This product works and control with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app
- Scan the QR code to download and install the app
- You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already.
- Or search the above app in the app store to download and install it.
- Open the app, tap “+” on the upper right, and then follow prompts to add your device.
- Make sure the camera turns on and the network connection is stable during connecting.
- The indicator is quickly blinking orange when waiting for a connection and turns into blue once the camera is successfully connected.
Restoring factory settings
- In case the network the camera is connected to or the Mi/Xiaomi account the camera is paired with has to be changed.
- Use a pin to press and hold the reset button for about three seconds to restore factory settings.
- Then reconnect the network and the app with the camera
- Restoring factory settings will not delete the content on the MicroSD card.
FEATURES
- Real-time Surveillance – The real-time feed of the camera can be viewed in the camera’s plugin in the app, the resolution and angle of the camera can be adjusted. Furthermore, you can make screenshots of or record the real-time footage and make remote calls.
- Infrared Night Vision – The camera can automatically switched to night vision mode at night according to the degree of change in the surrounding light. The built-in infrared night vision light has a night vision distance of up to 9 meters and can even shoot clearly in the dark.
- Playback – The playback features of the camera is only available when a compatible microSD card is installed. Once a microSD card is installed and the camera is plugged in, it will automatically start recording video. The playback interface can be accessed by tapping the playback button in the camera’s plugin in the app, drag the timeline to select and playback the desired time period. The maximum supported playback speed is 16x.
- Home Surveillance Assistant – When the more surveillance assistant is enabled, the camera will record videos if it detects human movement and changes in real-time withing its surveilled area. Then you will get app push notification. The home surveillance assistance can be enabled or disabled in the camera’s plugin in the app. You can set 24-hour, daytime, nighttime, custom period surveillance, alert sensitivity and alert time intervals etc.
- Video Sharing – To invite others to watch, the camera can be shared through the device sharing function in the settings menu of the camera’s plugin in the app. The person the camera is shared with needs to download the app and sign in with a account.
